A memorable day, for both the people and the utter lack of visibility. We went as high as 9k and all the way over to Mazama ridge hunting for sustained good light with only rare success. When we could see, the skiing was smooth and fun.

Light to moderate snow showers much of the day. Light but sustained winds moved snow Eastward. 10+ cm of soft, fresh, sunwarmed snow.

Instability confined to rollerballs. Steep solar aspects we're significantly less responsive to ski cuts than I anticipated.

Norwegian Nils managed to spend an entire trip to, from, and on the mountain without a glimpse of what lay above.

Edit: Sunburn. Cloudy days in May are easy to underestimate.
