Checked out the uphill dog park trail this morning. Saw a group of six walkers beginning a siege of the Tooth, and heard some more voices somewhere near Source Lake. Skinning to the lake was super firm, so we decided on the solar slopes below Chair Peak basin, expecting horrifying trap crust. Instead we got awesome cornmeal mush; one of my better runs this season. Georgia's Bakery sausage & egg croissant and cronuts were almost as good as the skiing.
The snowpack is holding up great there! Thanks for the update on conditions and nice photos!
