Road drivable to the trailhead. Skinning and walking to the creek crossing where our group found keeping the feet dry a challenge.  The trail has some dry sections to 4300' or so. Ski crampons or booting were our choice for ascending the west facing slope to the 6200' col before mid day. After 130pm the skiing was somewhat mushy for purists, 2-4" ski penetration depending on aspect.  This morning we found the Teanaway road drivable 3.1 miles past Beverly campground, and it is melting quickly.
