Trying to take advantage of the Ridge Road opening after having been closed for most of the month of April. Niko's third consecutive day up here! A mixed bag today, ice up top, corn, rain crust, mashed potatoes down low. Generally a supportive crust for skinning but not hard enough to boot pack. Good stability, lots of cornices with plenty of evidence of recent slide activity. Lots of sunshine with good visibility. Still didn't quite feel like spring skiing yet as the snow is not quite consolidated.
