What a difference a day, or aspect, or venue, or weather makes!  As bad as yesterday was, it took a lot of faith to go back and ski today. A birthday tour is always worthwhile tho, thanks Nikki.

Skiing north slopes in the Tatoosh today provided buttery consistent 1/2" wet fresh snow on a firm supportable base 6200-4800'.  Having a posse of four new sitters was pleasant too. Apres at Narada Falls parking lot was tasty and fun.
I take it, Crystal Lake was a bust?

E-Bike to Sunrise Ranger station, but run into 3 feet of snow on the road.  Good news Chinook is open to bike on the weekend and Monday.

I love the pictures of the ranger, vehicle and signage. Looks like everyone kept their sense of humor and enjoyment of the outdoors. 4+ the combination of bicycling, snow-lined roads and early access to skiing.  I don't have an aggressive bike (or an e-bike) like you do but I do OK on a non-suspended workhorse (e.g. search koelle bicycle on youtube).  Send a PM if you get in a similar mood for any MRNP etc. multi-mode shenanigans.

Thanks for the fun turns and the birthday cake!
