Stevens Pass 4/22

Real nice morning skiing with Avajane. Rain didn't come in till after lunch. Best run we found was the big bumps from 7th Heaven towards Hogsback. Off the groomers it was mostly bad snow from last week and rained on. Lots of people on the chairs, but not enough to make lines. I was very disappointed the backside wasn't open. Without Double Diamond bumps, Wild Katz, and the backside, Stevens Pass fells real small...just like it used to be...

Once the rains came, we drove an extra car down to the Nordic Center and skied the backside anyway. Wasn't my best idea ever, as the rained on slush was very slow, and doubly so because there was a large group of snowmobiles that had been running up and down the road. We got way more "exercise" than planned...
