Crystal - 4/22 Groomers, groomers, groomers
« on: 04/22/17, 03:18 PM »

Scarey fast groomers! Things froze solid overnight so Lucky Shot, GV, Iceberg, and FQ runs were the only sane options. Three skiers negotiated PB but saw no others anywhere on Six. I made it to noon but should have left at 11:30 as heavy snow moved in and set up into sticky on the flats, or lumpy concrete elsewhere. Rain completed the runout to the bottom. So not exactly the greatest of days but an enjoyable season all-in-all.
State Patrol has an ultra stealthy, dark color Dodge Charger that was working the Greenwater area. He pulled a uturn in front of me on my way down and then nabbed a car on the other side heading up. At Wapiti they reported he had been busy all morning.
