The second Hawaii shirt day of the season. A wonderful day to end the season. Crowded for an April Friday with Pay, A, and C lots all full and B lot half full.

A beautiful day, finally some spring weather. All the dabs of new snow these last weeks weren’t friendly, as most of the off-piste was frozen lumps early and unconsolidated slop later. Luckily some big slides in Powder Bowl cleared off the new snow and they were excellent. And focused skier grooming on Showtime made a 50 foot wide path down the Frontside. It got really soft and deep in places. There was lots of wet snow slide activity and the lower left of Exterminator slid about 200 yards wide covering the traverse to Lower E with 3-4 feet of heavy setting softball size lumps. Since the weekend forecast looks to freeze or rain on the whole mess, I’m ending my season on a very high note.

Stuck on groomers early in the day. However, second what  CD and CMSkier said. Powder Bowl came to save the day. The snow in PB held up much better then Showtime.  Lower E and lower Bull are starting to get thin. Watch out for bare spots. The weather for the weekend does not look that great, so this also might have been our last day at Crystal
Alpental? Bachelor?  We will see.
