Beautiful day, zero clouds and nearly no wind. I guess the high pressure came in faster than anticipated. Despite this, temperatures stayed cool and the snow remained amazing powder, minimally wind-affected up high. About 4-6" at the car and probably 2' up high. Pearly gates was a piece-of-cake climb. We skied Old Chute and Zigzag glacier. Top of the chute was rimy, so most were downclimbing a short section.
Nice job getting after it. Making me jealous as I had plans to ski off the summit this weekend which fell through. Sounds like conditions were quite good considering the "spring" we've been having.
