Cinco de mayo...

The snow pack seems good enough to support a cinco de mayo at Alpy. Anybody in-the-know think they'll do it on Friday May 5th or would they do it on Saturday May 6th? Praying for sun and that a dog doesn't snatch my brat off the grill.

My hope is they'll spin on Cinco. But it sounds like they'll be open thru the 7th and possibly extend ops @ Central for another weekend.

Cinco de Mayo will fall on May 5 this year. Similarly, the Fourth of July for 2017 will be on July 4, 2017. And the Ides of March just happened to once again fall on March 15.

I'm trying to plan some stuff in the Fall. Do you know if Halloween will be Oct 31 this year?

Thank you for making me aware of the fragile sensitivity many have if they were to spin the lifts on May 6/7 and not May 5th. Some anxiety meds may help. :'(
