The orginal plan was to access Mazama and then tour down to Reflection Lakes.  It was decent visibility when we started but by the time we gained the ridge is was snowing hard and blowing.  We had a few turns down the ridge but had trouble determining up from down.  So we just skied the west slopes.  It was very deep - 3 ft or so.  Gotta update the five year old skis to some fatter ones.  Curiously there were only AT folks around and no other tele skiers around other than myself.  Excellent day out.  One side of the car was wind-blown and iced up by the time we got back to the car at dark.  A couple of pits showed about 6 inches of dryer snow atop 2 ft of variable, moderately condensed, wetter snow.  Appeared well bonded to the crust at around 3 ft.  It was getting colder thru the weekend.  May be heads up time with all this new wind-blown stuff.
