All-time corn yesterday up on Helens. Fast and fun and creamy all the way from summit to parking lot! Okay, maybe it wasn't the best right beneath the summit or in the woods, but it was still pretty damn good.
Conditions were very firm on the way up, but a crater rim departure at 2 had us whooping the whole way down.
HOWEVER, we were very caught off guard by the road closure on 503 we hit at 3 in the morning. It took an extra hour to wrap around once we were able to regain cell coverage.
Also, while everything we skied was super stable, there were some absolutely massive slides triggered from cornice collapse.
