A great spring day. Things started cold with nice groomers, particularly LS. By mid-morning, it was Elk to Sluiceway and out lower E. And, by noon, it was upper to Lower E and lot's of front sides with chair line being the best. The cold temps from last night kept the snow in good shape and even though it softened in the sun, it never got sticky.

Morning groomers were scraped off Iceberg or softening Luckyshot - chose Lucky. Big T2Bs down The Gap softened first and Lower E’s bumps were best-of-the-day, all day. From Powder Bowl to Exterminator, the only run with the right combo of consolidation, skier grooming, and softening was Showtime. Exterminator was great, but the smooth untracked is nearly gone and deep glop is taking over. Limited runs, but a great day in the sun of no-stops-allowed runs. North facers never softened. Get it if it’s warm - aka go smooth out those chicken heads for me.

Elk on the road on the way up, Troopers on the way down. Both will ruin your day.
