Started skiing around 8am with low expectations. Followed what we thought would be a skin track to the ridge but the tracks turned around below Bullion Basin. A supportive, but edgable crust with and inch of new snow made skinning to the ridge tricky since none of us had ski crampons. Ended up switching to bootpack and quickly gained the ridge. Well before noon and the sun was already cooking SE aspects. This made for some high quality turns. Not corn, not slush, not powder, just fast fun, hero snow. A couple laps there gave enough time for the SW aspects to soften up as well. Was back at the car drinking beer in a t-shirt by 12:30. A total bonus day for sure. To not see another soul out there on a Sunday was a double bonus.
Good for you. Was looking at it longingly. But being by myself and based on my observations at Crystal was hesitant to go up. Sorry I didn't as Crystal was unskiable off piste.

Busy lad!

Nice work!!
