High overcast today with occasional snow flurries and sun breaks. Another busy day on the mountain, but we hit the tram first thing this morning and made the first shovel loader. Up top, the snow as very nice and we spent most of the morning on our favorite fixed grip quad, Sublette. Late mid morning, we worked our way across the resort. All of the high speed quads had snow that was sun damaged from yesterday, then re-frozen. The groomers were very firm and even icy in places and off-piste was unskiable. Just before lunch, we had a fun run skiing the Bridger gondie line, but that also had challenges on the lower half. After lunch, back to the Thunder and Sublette lifts for the afternoon. It's really too bad that the best skiing on this mountain (at least in these conditions) is only accessed by the tram and 2 low speed quads.

Tonight, a band that plays quite a bit in the Seattle area is playing the Mangy Moose in the village. Helles Belles is an all-girl AC/DC tribute band that just plain rocks. The lead guitarist does a great job channelling Angus Young. Might be a late ski start tomorrow.
