Muir conditioning mission earlier today. 'Broke trail from about 6800ft all the up to the hut. I don't think I've ever seen that much good snow, consistently, on every single part of the route including all ridges, all the way up. I thought it was going to be one of best Muir runs I've had. Unfortunately the forecasted evening front moved in early, enveloping the middle part of the mountain, creating that thick kind of white out where you can't tell up from down. Ruined a big chunk of the run once we got deep into it.

Sort of how the rest of the day looked - middle mountain was a cloud/weather magnet.

Breaking trail up to the hut.

I didn't drink this, then forgot to pour it out for the way down.

Jack getting ready to go down.

Whiteout awaits below.
