Some sun, some snow, some grauple, added to the three to four inches of new on top of breakable crust made for some beautiful vistas but challenging turns and tough skinning on steep southern aspects. Generally supportive crust on northern exposures, wind blown ridges and in shaded zones but still slippery. Some sluffing and cornice collapses observed. Despite the cool temps the intermittent sunshine is intense and winning the winter/spring battle. Was hoping to see the forecasted "sunshine" today but it never really materialized for me?
Who is the freeheeler? Lookin good!

Just some grizzeled impassioned 62 year old pinhead who's biding his time before he succumbs to the dreaded fixed heal :)

65 and don't think I want the hassle/binding issues of the fixed heal...seems like more mechanical problems being reported..and I can still parallel if shame overcomes me anyway..
