Fantastic conditions on seemingly stable base.  We climbed to about 7K feet with the sun out and 27 degrees making it perfect up conditions. Snow was sticky making the corners on the steeper parts quite manageable. Thanks for those that broke path before us, winding a nice route up through the trees at the higher elevations (we owe you a beer at the Elk). We didnt quite make it to the top as we got a late start but got high enough to get the goods on the fields at the top.  The top 6 inches slid a bit but none of the deeper base moved (at least as much as we could see or feel). The sun made the lower snow a bit heavy but the top 30 turns were epic - untracked and well over the boot with blower to the waster.
