Yes, the ski report was for 15” overnight with a bit more during the day. We are definitely getting the powder feeling.  We rode the ski bus that runs every 15-30 minutes this year --  I like it as it deposited us 30 feet from the ticket window where we got our free tickets with our MAX Passes.  The last time we skiied hear was in 2004/05, so I could compare the old and new trail maps and see the new lift and the upgraded express lifts.  They start loading the chairs at 9am, with NO early opening. We followed some Solitude instructors who were not yet working and and had some great powder lines in the trees. The 15”of fresh Utah powder was fantastic.  Jill, with her 4 month old replacement hip, was turning effortlessly through the powder with a big smile on her face. Honeycomb Canyon was closed for avy work, but the lower part of Honeycomb were accessible via Powderhorn II and Eagle Express lifts. Return out of the Honeycomb Canyon via a 4 person lift or take the LONG trail back. We needed a soak in the whirlpool hot tub at the Rec Center in Sandy and to get ready for more powder on Thursday. It could be a Little Cottonwood Canyon day...
