Beckoned up by views from Eburg, drove S on the Umtanum/Wenas Rd toward Ellensburg Pass, parking just W of the Umtanum Falls trail head. Skied S from there to the 4000'+ Umtanum Ridge top, ~a mile east of the 4224' Rattler benchmark. This is a great viewpoint. Took in the sights with binoculars in sunny, near windless conditions. The ski down could've been better but I hear more snow is coming.
Very cool , I ride that road and ridge on a dualsport mc in the summer and always wonder if there is enough snow to ski those beautiful ridges. Thanks for breaking out of the box and reporting,

Just a little and with muddy stretches as you drove down to Umptanum Creek. Mostly bare and dry to there.
