Last week's Pineapple Express had us heading to WA Pass for the weekend. Pineapples that deliver only rain and misery on the westside tend to bring pow and smiles to WA Pass, and this time was no different.  Saturday, we went up to Liberty Bowl.  There were signs of a major slide cycle, including house-sized debris from the collapse of the cornice at the top.  The snowpack around the Pass had been "reset" by last week's warmup, with 6-12" of fresh on top of the refreezing mush.  We lapped the hippy pow around the bowl until the call of delicious Mexican food (La Fonda Lopez in Twisp) and beer was just too strong to resist. Hoping to find deeper snow on Sunday, we headed for Rainy Pass, and it delivered!

Right Arm! Approximately how long was the sled to Rainy?

Looks prett sweet! Is Kendall trying to wax his 'stache in the first pic?
Cheers,
Nate

I think it was about 35 minutes to Rainy.  The slide aprons are in all the usual spots, but they're all pretty casual right now. Should be all time this weekend!

Ha! Kendall's focused on a fast transition for maximum pow (as always). How's the snow around Bachelor?  You've been getting the goods lately, no?  Let's see some pics!

Nice!

I'll take this opportunity to help your mission.

Selling one 2006 skidoo. 800 XP summit, 156 track.. electric start. Reverse. Cheapish. I'll cut a deal if you mention this trip report. PM me for details.

It's been a great winter, had to shovel the roof! I've been on the daddy dawn patrol schedule, my skiing hours are usually 5:30-8AM, so I agree fast transitions are key!

Glad to see this!  Nice report!

You Should have fired off a lap on NEWS West Face while you were at it.  Probably the only time of year when you won't have a line on it.

Well done man!
