Rode the Slot yesterday. Ski crampons very useful on the approach. There were 5 tracks in it already from Saturday. If you head up there, beware the entrance. The rain crust surface is very hard ice, which 2 of our group sideslipped while the other 2 passed and skied the Phantom and exit gulley to meet us below in Thunder basin. Once in the main part of the chute, snow improved to nice powder. The couloir avalanched in the Thursday cycle, so there are some blocks to dodge down below.
