There were even hordes of cars at Crystal on Super Sunday.  Driving was slippery and crowded.  Lot C had plenty of room, and my nephew Jimmie and I headed up Bullion Basin.  Skin tracks from Saturday were barely visible.  Over 2 feet new with barely any layering.  With fuzzy vis we saw nobody all day.  Bombs ahead of us, whoops on East Peak behind.
Jimmie heroically put in good tight switchbacks up the gully below Crown Point.  We knocked off a cornice that slid 30 feet but only sluffed.  We treated ourselves to thigh-deep runs in stiff snow.  Then interlocking skin tracks led up East Peak for a much longer, wind-stiffened run.  I felt a slight settle underfoot above the Friday snow layer.  Light to steady precip., 5-6" fell while we were out.
Skiable light 'til after 5:30; yay longer days   :)
dendrite daydreams :)

Looong day. When did your day start?

Nice work!  7 cars in the ditch between Morton and Elbe.
