With ddk inactive for the day I know someone else must carry the TR torch. Not that much to tell, since the entire upper mountain stayed closed and yesterday's fresh got blown and scoured off. Discount day tickets were offered. Temp. 13 deg. at 9 AM, high of 20. I like the new red digital clock/thermometer at the top of CHX.
The corduroy got tenderized nicely but there were strong easterlies blowing upslope and slowing you down. Found short leftovers in some trees, and K2 skied well, but most of the soft got pushed into the hollows of skiers' right. Gorgeous sunny day. We waited for the snow plumes off Upper Ferk's to diminish, but alas no opening.

Other: Even worse, Campbell Lodge closed just before lunch so no soup to even look at. Flooding in one of the restrooms, joy. Soup was gone at the Bullwheel; chili was OK but overloaded with red onion. Parking was wide open I think. Someone saw 10 elk on the way home. We are the first bus in the line of many and I ain't drivin' it ;D
