Good turns below 4k on N & NE aspects, crust increases noticeably above 4k and becomes heinous ~4200' due to less new snow, more graupel and certainly way more freezing rain in the last week. 6-8" of settled, "normal" density snow both in the open and trees. Slight pinwheeling on solar-affected slopes this afternoon but no propagation or sluffing noticed incl. slopes up to 45°. Plenty of hoar frost needles on the snow and trees, that combined with the freezing rain crust layer on high will make the next storm(s) interesting. Early morning fog gave way to high overcast skies and temps ranging from the upper 20s to low 30s (degrees Freedomheit) w/ an intermittent but very light SE breeze.

Yup. Exactly what we found last Sunday at the same aspects and elevations. Hope there's fresh when I get back Thursday from Colorado wind pressed chalk and 4" powder in wind protected glades. Thanks for the conditions update.
