Alpental 1/24

Decent, but hoped to ski under sunny sky's and it was instead grey clouds.  Snow was also not perfect due to boiler plate frozen in places but the 3" frm Sunday was still plenty evident and found plenty of places to link turns in soft stuff.  Nash entrance was in good shape and the 2nd half on left side quite good.  A bit frozen in top half.  Lower Nash even better with traversing out to center, that was best powder type stuff I found on main runs.  Other ways down frm top like Edlewiess bowl just soso due to big hard bumps.  Found some freshy on Gun Mount though The Fan route to it was also soso.  Deb.Gold Xpress run was groomed amazingly, even the upper cat track traverse all smoothed.  Had great carving speed runs when not doing the top.  Maybe thats a bonus for Tuesday after the Monday closure.
