Good conditions along the 97 corridor but very cold. North and east facing slopes have a couple of feet and though the top is light and it skis well - it is thick enough to cover logs/stumps...
I mostly road skied and didn't get high as I was alone and didn't want to freeze to death. I imagine that ridge lines would still be thin, and that there could be dangerous areas of windslab based on weather reports. I skied one steep pitch in trees and found no instabilities. There were some layers, but they were well bonded where I was.
