Had a blast over the holidays celebrating New Years at the Icefall Lodge. After a long drive to Golden, the group met at the Kicking Horse Lodge the 23rd and flew out of the heliport the morning of the 24th. It was cold and there was tons of snow. Testing showed good stability overall, but we could see wind slabs on east aspects letting loose with the help of rockfall. Since it was generally snowing, cloudy, and windy we stuck to the trees and found awesome stashes all over the place.

nice! it's an incredible place that for some reason seems to be less popular than other commercial huts in BC. everyone should go!
