Skied all day with snow falling heavily most of the day. Only made one complete run "on piste" ducked ropes all day and got many faceshots in the woods. Skied with Yoshiko's friend Iko, who guided us to the prime stashes.
Plus today was Thursday, which is "Senior Day" at Kokusai for folks over 55 , they sold me a ticket for 2000 yen, basically $20, pretty nice 1st time Senior discount for me. Their cafe's signature dish is a Curry Ramen bowl. 1000 yen, tasty and huge. I couldn't finish mine.·

After skiing, we stopped at Asarigawa Hot Spring/public bath. Very civilized and relaxing. A good number of families with kids enjoying the facility. I wish we could have such amenities is the USA. A hot soak, jetted soak, dry sauna and massaging water fall do wonders for relaxing muscles. My neck has finally released the kink I got during the ten hours flight from Vancouver to Tokyo.
