I'm really surprised to not have seen any of the regulars after Mission Ridge reported this

We found pow, ski pen was about 55cm. It was cold.

We found a weak layer to be fairly reactive and even saw some slides to the bed surface on convex, unsupported terrain. That being said, the new snow on top is not exhibiting slab characteristics but near the ridges and wind-affected areas, thick hard slabs were present.

It was probably the deepest light snow I have ever skied in, if I only took a few dips into untouched fluffiness.

No photos, phone died.
