First timer or yoga enthusiast, or both?  The skin track up phantom trees had more kick turns than I've ever seen before, and I was too lazy to set an easier one.  Nice stable 12" blower powder snow 6100'- 3800' on SW aspect, then 4" on crust.  Nice sun tried to warm us in the cold temps, thankfully we were wind protected.  8 degree high for the day at 5500' and 5 mph wind from just south of east.

That sums it up well--going on a month now.
Can't complain about December's storms... but what we need apparently is a *really* big snowstorm for the re-set.
Breaking would be a joy.

Good seeing you out there Silas!

Yes!!  My skin track survives!!!  Our crowning achievement for the year.

to each their own i suppose.  my buddy was saying how much he appreciated someone finally setting a decent skin track through there.  although the switchbacks weren't slick on NYE which probably made it easier.

great shredding regardless.

happy new year powder posse!
