January 1, 2017 Summit East

I was surprised that the ski report said 6”' overnight, no wind, 25 degrees.  This was Jill's first powder day this season, and it was great. The groomers had 4” on top and the untracked had 6” of much lighter than expected powder. We met Hillary and Dale there, and a fun day was had by all! .

I had a blast with my 2 young boys at East. Really light powder and a huge amount of fun for the guys in the bumps and trees. One of my fav days at Hyak for a long time...and we spent 4 there over the holidays! The 30th was a great one too!
