December 28, 2016, Summit East and Central

Skied first tracks on 1" fresh over the grooming at East with two guys older than me!  Sun and cool temps with no wind felt like a spring day in Colorado. The abundant snowfall of the past few days kept the surface soft all day at both areas except in a very few spots. Off piste slopes provided 8" of dry powder over a consistent base.

I keep running into this “younger then us-Silas”.  Then I ski with Scott and Robie another senior.  They ride their backcountry gear just in case they dump you to skin up and go to there secret spot which they never say where in WA  it is.
