Partly sunny skies, a nicely broken track, made for a pleasant outing today.   We skied out road 800 about 4 miles enjoying cold snow and wide views of Mt Stuart, the Enchantment range and Table Mountain.

Particularly pleasant was the fact that no snow machines invaded from Blewitt pass -- We saw no snow machine tracks at all once we were within the "Voluntary Non-Motorized Area" along road 800 and even more pleasant we didn't even hear "the two-stroke sound" once we were away from the parking lot.

Road 800 has some gentle rolls, but no steep sections -- perfect for beginners or anyone wanting a mellow tour.  With a couple more feet of snow -- there are clearcuts on the north side of the ridge and glades on the south where turns could be made.

Thanks for the TR Randy -- that's one of my favorite mellow tours.  A great XC tour as well.  Glad to hear it's filling in.

randy--fantastic photo!  looks like it was a great day.  i've been curious about the blewitt area for some time, and those clearcuts and glades you speak of on the north and south aspects seem tempting...

thanks for the report!  :)
