Nice day at Yodelin. Went right up to the ridge and lapped the upper slopes. First tour and ski of the year and first time to Yodelin.
Stable powder in the trees, but massive tree wells. Some sloughing observed on lower, open slopes. A few other groups up there, but to be honest, having a few tracks breaking the pow made life a bit easier.
Should be able to put some shots up later.
Shout out to Peter and company with Finn the snow dog. Nice to meet you.

How was the tour up, usually it's filled with lots of brush this time of year
Was up there as well - think we crossed paths briefly on the way out... that treewell at the end of the vid looks scary!?
I had a pole get snagged in some shark-branches and had to get back up about 15'. Was quickly obvious that unclicking and booting would be easier.... or so I thought... took several minutes of high energy uphill swimming. Really made me stop and think about what would happen if I *needed* to get anywhere uphill quickly.
Fun skiing!!
