Snow fell. It needed skiing. Susan was the woman to do it.
Point 'em, or you won't float. Get it while you can. It won't last.

The median on 17th Ave was pretty good down to about 70'. Ripped skins at the W at 70' only to find sticky slush with intermittent gravel down to nothing at 50'. Watch out for cars crossing the skin track. Also if anyone can see Gas Works right now please post a snow report.

2-3 cm of heavy fluff/blower on a mixed asphalt/concrete base. Bond at that interface was good to excellent.
If there were any instability to worry about on the slope in question, it would've been loose dry, running easily with each of two or three loud/scratchy ski turns.
In any event, avalanche hazard was easily terrain-managed by keeping to slopes under ten degrees.
