11/25/2016, Powder Hour at Artist Point

It must be Black Friday!  You had two choices today at Mt. Baker Ski Area environs: skiing/riding fresh snow all day, or waiting in long lift lines and skiing moguls!!  Word has it that the Chair 1 lift line extended all the way out to the upper parking lot!  I hope them skiers/riders enjoyed their one run of fresh snow if they were lucky to be anywhere near the front of line.  Holding out until either Stevens or Alpental opens, I decided to skip the lines and moguls and head to my usual spot.  I must say, this was probably the best early skiing I've had up there!

There was no face plant or skiing in my red sweat pants this year.lol
