Erik and I checked out the Interglacier yesterday. Visibility was poor and the wind was howling around 1 PM so we didn't go any higher than about 8300 ft. Despite the wind the snow was decent, with about a foot or so of powder. When the clouds lifted a bit we were able to let loose and make some good turns. Otherwise it was skiing by braille. There were maybe a dozen other parties out. The late bird may have gotten the worm yesterday as the weather seemed to be improving while we were making our way out. Not sure when the Park Service will close the road, but I'm guessing it'll be any day now.
