Long tour on shoes, through heavy snow in the Commonwealth Basin, but snow steadily improved (deeper/lighter) as we climbed up into the bowl below the summit. Got about 1300' of sweet turns before snow started falling and visi dropped. High hike to ride ratio, but rewarding and will return in the spring for more.
