Thanks to the road crew for plowing the Blue lake trailhead! There was probably ten rigs in the parking lot at 0900, a combination of climbers, dog walkers and skiers. The snow down low was a little thin yet, and made for demanding brush turns, but up near the col it was great snow, but the vis was not so good. Managed a double eject on an unseen break over, but it was still great to get out.  The cornice at the col was tall and we did not crawl over it. Someone skied spire gully, I'm sure the top was good but the lower end looked death defying, we were tempted, but glad we took a pass. Another foot or two would make for much better turns. There was a fair number of folks at the overlook getting in some XC skiing in the meadow.
Thanks for the report. I have been curious how the skiing is up there.

Next time I will try and connect with you and hitch a ride!
