Donald Trump goes skiing

Ivana Trump told Mr. D’Antonio about a Colorado ski vacation she took with Mr. Trump soon after they began dating. The future Mrs. Trump had not told her boyfriend that she was an accomplished skier. As she recalls it, Mr. Trump went down the hill first and waited for her at the bottom:

IVANA TRUMP: So he goes and stops, and he says, “Come on, baby. Come on, baby.” I went up. I went two flips up in the air, two flips in front of him. I disappeared. Donald was so angry, he took off his skis, his ski boots, and walked up to the restaurant. ... He could not take it. He could not take it.

Ivana was the D's first wife. Apparently they got married in '77, so if Ivana sent a double backflip when they were dating (i.e. in or before 1977) it must have been a pretty big deal in the freeskiing community. In fact I'm surprised this hasn't been a bigger issue in the campaign....

Ivana Trump (born Zelnickova) was an accomplished downhill racer from a Moravian town Zlin and adjoining ski area Portas (I grew up there).  She was (is) an ambitious gal - moved to Montreal to live with a skier before becoming a model and later marrying Trump. 

I doubt Trump still skis. A helmet or hat would make his hair look like s**t. Oh wait, it already looks like that.
