We hiked for an hour through wild flowers just past prime from fourth crossing to 6300' where we skinned to 8500' with no carries. The ski down was on smooth snow beside a few raised tracks from past days. There were small sun cups (A) from 6500'-6300' where the snow ended.
Looks great! Was up there two weeks ago for 7/31 and 8/1 and it doesn't appear to have changed much. I was very surprised how well it skied. Did you skirt left or through the middle of the big crack at about 8000'? Skiing down through the valley at the bottom was a bit interesting with all of the running water underneath.
Upper Paradise looked and felt Yuck! Lower skied well with nice corn. Sept. 10 conditions.
