Mostly sunny turning mostly cloudy in the pm. Cool temps and north easterly exposure keeping the snow quite hard with sun cups providing for 800 feet or more for turns. Moose lake can be seen in the lower left side of the pic as well as Mt. Deception and Grand Pass. Major head wall on Moose mostly melted out now as seen in the second pic.

Thanks for the report, runcle. 800' of cold suncups. Best skiing reported in August so far!

Nice job. How far is the walk?

BTW August 6 was the 71st anniversary of the Hiroshima atomic bombing, and today marks the Nagasaki date.
