Long time fan of the site and finally writing my first TR - thanks to everyone for the ideas and inspiration.

We skied the Coleman Deming route on Saturday in excellent conditions. It was windy up top, but well above the clouds. We topped out around 11:45 and started the ski down a little after noon just as the Roman wall was corning up for some silky turns.

With one short carry we were able to ski all the way back to the tent at 6,000 ft. Suncups became the name of the game below ~8,000 ft, but they were soft enough to still be fun. Plenty of cracks but the route was very clear and straightforward.

We brought skins but ended up booting all the way up. Many hikers were out for the day but we only saw one other group skiing. They were getting to the summit as we were clicking in to head down so we only saw them from a distance - they must have come up a different route.

Happy turns!
Good timing, we arrived at Schriebers Meadows on Saturday around 3PM and it was raining and cloudy. I can hardly believe your pics, what a difference few hours make. It was a bit more festive on Sunday, there were 6 skiers on Squak and 2 on Coleman Deming. Happy skiing.
