We had to boot about 50 vertical feet from fourth crossing, then skinned to 8700' on the Paradise Glacier. The long crevasse at 8000' is opening more each day. We enjoyed 1/4-3" corn on both the Paradise and the Cowlitz Glaciers. Snow above 7000' is smooth. We heard there is 6"+ of unconsolidated week old snow above 9500'. There was a nice 8-10 mph breeze most of the day.
