Let White River ~430am on the Wonderland Trail.  Patchy snow starts around 5000 ft.  Scary waterfall where you cross the big stream on the map.  We bushwhacked around it.  Continuous snow started around 6200 ft.  Got to the road to the campground and put on skis.  Skinned out to 3rd Burroughs.  Coverage is really good right now, especially on N facing slopes.  But it is thin.  If the current weather keeps it up there won't be much when the road opens.  Skiing on 3rd was meh.  We dropped down from the saddle between 2nd & 3rd.  Skiing was kind of nice there.  But we ran out of snow around 6000 ft.  Booted it down the trail to the patiently awaiting cold beer and chocolate cat cookies.  We were all alone up at Sunrise.  Pics also are of nearby areas for planning.  Fryingpan glacier looks good.

Thanks for the report.  Had the road been plowed at all (wondering for biking purposes)?

We only saw from the White River turn off.  But that part was plowed.

Biked up to 5800 on May 13th, and lots of plowing had happened.

Should be a lot higher now.
