The big news - if you dare go past the road closed sign, with high clearance(we were in a Silverado), one can gingerly drive through 3 minor washouts almost to the Esmeralda trailhead. A deep and narrow chasm will stop you there. Hiked the old jeep trail to ~5000' where skis went on to climb through Ingalls Pass and up Fortune. Its SE face still skied well after 4pm. Good coverage yet in Headlight Basin.
