May 9, 2016 Timberline

I left Sandy early this morning. It was cloudy and when I reached zigzag it was shower hitting the windshield. When I arrived at Government Camp shower change to powder. As I drove to Timberline the sun broke through and there was powder in the air. Today was the last day that stormin Norman would be used. The trails had about 2 inches of powder on them and it was silky smooth just skim through all the different powder. Rode magic Mile in there was only two trails that were groomed. I then rode
Palmer lift and there was two inches of powder and the conditions were fantastic. From the top of the Palmer lift to the base of stormin Norman it was 3000 feet of vertical. It was quiet and enjoyable skiing 3000 vertical trip after trip.
