Tim, Dan and I went up to Muir on the 5th and crashed out for a few hours. We left for the summit via the DC at 3:45am. The climbing was very direct but the route seems like it's in late-June shape. The hot days are melting things rapidly. Dan was able to skin from 13,500' to the summit while Tim and I transitioned a few times back and forth from there.

We descended the upper Nisqually and had great firm snow skiing from the C. Crest to the top of the Wapowety Cleaver. From there we had several hundred feet of exposed skiing and billygoating above a monster bergshrund at ~11,500'.

Once we got in the Finger proper the skiing was great all the way down to the Wilson Gl. Perfect corn that transitioned to ripable slop by the time we hit the east moraine of the Nisqually.

Nice work, how many sunny days of skiing left are in the finger would you estimate?

Awsome!! Nice job Seth,
