Despite a variety of setbacks, we managed to snap into our bindings about the same time the corn had set up just right. There was little skiing to be had on the south side, but we managed to squeak out about 300 feet of discontinuous patches on the way back to the road.
We need a mule service to Victor. You guys must have headed back early: that corn hardened into very fast icy crust in the evening. N
We headed back to the car from the pass just before 1400 hours.
